Save Your Holiday Dignity

It's time for holiday baking and cooking again! I start early and cook a lot. We all like a lot of good foods at the holidays and my kitchen gets a workout! I started looking around to see if I have enough chip clips for all the open bags of chips that will find their way into my cabinet, enough measuring cups (somehow mine always get commandeered for other things and never replaced), and jar openers. These are important to me because every year I'm bound and determined that I'm not going to ask my husband to open the stubborn jars when I'm preparing Christmas meals......it's just personal. So I end up in the kitchen muttering at the jars under my breath and smacking, tapping, and grunting at the jars. It would be so much easier for my 5 foot 3 inch, buck o' five weighing self if someone would just get me some jar openers and be done with it. I would never again have to hear, "Do you need some help with that?"
Promotional chip clips have a variety of styles and uses....(pretty sure I used one once to keep my daughter's hair out of her oatmeal when she was little). Custom measuring cups are long lasting products that everyone needs in their kitchen no matter how much or how little they cook. And promotional jar openers will have women everywhere thanking your business for saving their dignity. It is time to invest in your business for the new year. Advertising done now will increase business in the new year!

Wow! Now That's Cold!

I just went outside to put the trash out and realized.....it's COLD! Now, I'm in the south so when I say cold I mean 52 degrees. I'm a wimp...I'm OK with that. I don't have to scrape windshields for ice or snow and I'm thankful for that. I use my ice scraper to scrape the griddle on my stove top. While I was feeling so thankful and generally quite cocky about my lack of ice scraper usage I decided to check out some weather in other parts of the U.S. and see what was happening where you are. Anchorage, AK is 3 degrees right now. Chicago is 45. Deer Park, WA is 32 degrees and has a light snow falling. OK, you win...it's colder where you are. Can I lend you a hat or an ice scraper?

For those of you living in, or expecting wintry weather soon I salute you. Time to get prepared. Ice scrapers are important tools for those of you living in climates where ice and snow are a reality. What better way to promote your business than by purchasing promotional ice scrapers that your customers can use during the wintry weather? They come as small as a credit card or large enough to tackle the biggest windshield.

Start a Revolution!

Every year churches, schools, teams and businesses do fund raisers to try and make it through another year of activities. I personally have more fund raiser wrapping paper and cookie dough than I can possibly use in a year. And don't get me started on those chocolate bars that I buy that are $1 but add 10 lbs. to my hips with every bite. I'm thinking it's time for a Christmas revolution! Why not sell something easy to get and personalized for your church, business, or school? Personalized Christmas ornaments come in so many different varieties it gets you in the holiday spirit just looking at them. People can always use ornaments but we do not need any more cookie dough!

Custom Christmas ornaments can also be great corporate gifts. This is a great way to thank your employees for their service during the year without breaking the bank. Giving a personalized Christmas ornament would also be a great gift with purchase that would keep your business' name on the top of consumer's Christmas shopping list. Everybody loves a freebie. Please help end the wrapping paper, chocolate bar, cookie dough insanity....start a revolution!

Down To The Last Detail

Every year I tend to procrastinate the little details of the holiday season. Do I have enough linens for all the company that comes to stay? Will I be traveling or having parties at my home? What office, church, or friends parties will I attend? I realized a couple of years ago the day before family was due to arrive, I had almost no mugs or glasses for any company. I was down to one sad looking, chipped mug from my trip to Williamsburg, that although my favorite, wouldn't really do for anyone else. Our wine glass situation was just as pitiful. After 13 years of marriage whatever nice crystal we once had was mismatched and really we were down to only a couple of those as well. I ended up racing around town furiously searching for mugs and glasses for company that was nearly at my door.

I intend to start early this year. I'm going to look for all my mugs and glasses early. For a corporate party custom glasses come in several different types. I could choose from a variety of custom wine glasses or custom shot glasses. If I wanted to keep it more casual I could choose from several types of personalized mugs. Lets start early together!

It's Cold Outside

While listening to Christmas music this morning (yes! I'm one of THOSE people) I realized that quite soon it would be that time. Time for Christmas parades, outdoor sports, ice skating, and freezing to death. Living in Florida I always think that I might be able to get away without a heavy jacket, hats, or gloves. And every year after our Christmas parade or a freezing 8:00 AM soccer game I wonder why I didn't buy something to cover my hands and head...never fails. So this year I'm determined not to be caught unaware...I'm starting now.

Beanies are one of the most popular pieces of winter attire currently on the market. Embroidered beanies with a company logo are a way to promote your business that will have a lasting effect. Custom beanies last forever and become walking advertisement for a business, church, or school. It's time to get ready....it's getting cold out there!

H1N1 Flu Parties?

Well I've heard it all! I just read an article about parents having swine flu parties with infected kids in hopes that their own children will get the H1N1 Flu. The idea is that the children will get the virus while it is still fairly manageable, in hopes that they will be immune if it mutates into something even worse. Interesting idea in theory......but not for me. I prefer to show my kids good hand washing procedures or use hand sanitizers.

The use of hand sanitizers kills 99.9 % of germs from those grimy little hands. I think schools, businesses, and churches would be wise to start giving them out as prizes. You won the Apple Bobbing contest??? Great! Here's a hand sanitizer. Hmm, I need a stocking stuffer. Hand sanitizer! All joking aside, it is time for action. An added benefit is if you purchase promotional hand sanitizers, which you can find in a variety of sizes and styles, you can promote your business, church, team, or school. Get on board! Let's do away with the Swine Flu parties and start using products that can actually help ourselves and our children.

Mini Basketballs and Other Basketball Spirit Items

We are right at the start of basketball season so be sure and get your promotional mini basketballs early and beat the rush. School spirit items are very important to keep your fans pepped up to support your team. As your team works it's way to the championships, make sure you support them from the very beginning.

Many basketball booster clubs choose to sell spirit items such as stadium seat cushions, thundersticks, custom mini basketballs, hand clappers, and many other team personalized spirit items. To make even more profit for your booster club, you can have business sponsors pay for the spirit items in return for their business name printed on them. After that, you can sell the promotional items and make 100% profit for your club.
